Design can be conveyed through many different mediums. The design process start to finish varies from person to person and thing to thing. Yet, there seems to be a theme to my “start” process. Just as if I were to draw for leisure, it is usually inspired by something out there...in different mediums whether it be a movie, poster, and even real life conversations!
The pre-design & decision making process that I used as a kid when it came to drawing matches with my process in designing Style Tiles— defined as “A design deliverable consisting of fonts, colors and interface elements that communicate the essence of a visual brand for the web”.
My Process:
Idea(s) inspired by a thing(s) — (Visual Design Folder)
Draft text “message” to convey — (HTML)
What elements are imperative to put on the page — (HTML)
Draft up.. Decide on colors, shapes, font, & position to match the tone — (CSS)
Position and move things around — (Graphics Program)
Rinse & Repeat
*These examples are representative of my vision for my business card webpage.
So refreshing to see people write about their process! Looking forward to the next blog post
