A Dreamer commits to change to make their ideas reality, just as developers and designers commit changes using Tower for other to see.
Today’s lesson is centered on accountability and filling in those gaps. As a student of Perpetual Education, I’ve learned more than I could ever imagine only being two months in. I have been learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, history of fonts, and design amongst many other things. However, the most important fundamental is how to think as a visual designer in the real world. Being able to view my reality through a new lens, one that I’ve been dreaming of, my skills have only improved. Derek, our mentor, has given us license to think, act, and commit to this way of being, to improve throughout our program and in life.
I was once caught in tutorial purgatory and only dreamt of learning to code. I am committed to this program and the students. I am also committed to sharing what I have been learning.
It starts now!
This is epic. I'll be giving it 110% to make sure you keep feeling this way!
Glad you escaped tutorial purgatory! I've been there and it truly sucks. Looking forward to more blog posts!!!
